In this first episode, we will discuss mistakes and goofs we’ve noticed across film and tv that likely occurred in the post production process. This could be anything from colour mistakes, power windows, filters, editorial glitches and the occasional bad CGI.
Having gone through film school, we got to learn a lot about different facets of filmmaking that we carried with us post-grad.
Our second job, in the industry, together was working at a Post Production house in Toronto as QC Operators. We were tasked with finding errors on final episodes of tv shows or films before they went to air. Some errors are made during filming and some are made in the post production process during colour, VFX, and delivery.
It was our job to flag these issues with a degree of offence for the viewer.
Will it be noticeable enough to disrupt the viewers experience and can it be fixed?
